Sue proctor hostas header

From classic hostas to new introductions, from miniature hostas to giants, our hosta collection has something for everyone.

Our Nursery in West Yorkshire is devoted to Hostas and in our Website you will find something to appeal to everyone, from the hosta beginner to the serious collector.

Our Catalogue lists over 450 hosta varieties, including old favourites, classics and an exciting range of the very newest varieties.

We particularly specialise in miniature and very small hostas, offering around 150 varieties and cultivars, some rare and hard to find.

To simplify ordering, our hostas are all listed again on our Ordering Page.

Most varieties listed are accompanied by a photograph to make choosing easy.

We sell through by mail order and, by arrangement, to personal visitors to our Nursery.

Thank you for visiting our Website. Enjoy your hostas!!

Garden and Nursery Open Weekend Sat. 15th-Sun. 16th July. 11am-4pm

We had a wonderful Open Weekend with nearly 250 visitors. The rain kept away and we raised over £1250 for the National Garden Scheme charities.

A Time for Change

After exhibiting Hostas at Shows for nearly ten years, we have decided to retire from exhibiting. We are sorry we have had to take this decision, not least because we will miss so many of the lovely customers we have got to know over the years.

From now on we will focus on our mail orders, aiming for a quick turn-around, and on welcoming visitors to our Nursery and Garden. Next season (2018) we will be open again under the National Garden Scheme (date to be decided.) Hosta addicts who would like to visit us at another time will be made very welcome. Just give us a ring to make sure we are in.

For those wondering if it's worth a long trek to visit us, here are some of the attractions you might also fit in:
